| Orthodontic treatment is commonly associated with an increased risk of enamel demineralization, particularly in the form of white spot lesions around brackets and in areas of biofilm accumulation. In this context, preventive strategies play a crucial role in preserving enamel integrity throughout treatment. This lecture will present the concept of Smart Prevention in orthodontics, highlighting the role of S-PRG filler technology and its bioactive properties. Clinical applications of PRG ProCare Gel, PRG Barrier Coat, and sealants will be discussed, including their use in both fixed appliances and aligner therapy.
