| Abstract: The management of oral frena in pediatric patients continues to be widely discussed within orthodontic and interdisciplinary practice, especially concerning the appropriateness and optimal timing of surgical procedures. Given the significant rise in the rate of surgical interventions over the past years, there are ongoing concerns about potential overdiagnosis and overtreatment. This presentation aims to critically appraise the current evidence base to inform clinical decision-making for pediatric patients across all age groups. |
