| Abstract: The role of orthodontics in the management of dental trauma is an interesting one. Effective management requires timely diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and long term follow up care. Orthodontic considerations play a role in both the treatment and rehabilitation phase of traumatic dental injuries. This presentation will review current principles in the management of dental trauma using orthodontic care and the management of dental trauma prior to or during orthodontic treatment. |
