With over 20 years of clinical experience and more than a decade dedicated to high-level dental education, I hold a PhD in Dentistry from the Complutense University of Madrid (2011). My career is defined by a dual commitment to clinical excellence and the advancement of dental science through rigorous research and university teaching.
I graduated in Dentistry from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2003, where I also earned my Master’s Degree in Pediatric Dentistry, a Master’s Degree in Dental Sciences, and my PhD. I completed my training with an Official Master’s Degree in Advanced Orthodontics from the European University of Madrid.”
Teaching
Currently, I serve as an Associate Professor at Complutense University of Madrid and the San Pablo CEU University, where I coordinate the Orthodontics II subject. Furthermore, I am a visiting professor for the Master’s in Pediatric Dentistry at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and for the Master’s in Orthodontics programs at both CEU and Universidad Europea de Madrid.
My teaching portfolio includes over 10 years of experience in prestigious Spanish institutions, where I act as a tutor for final degree projects and a director for doctoral, master’s, and bachelor’s theses.
Scientific Production & Research
My research focus lies in interceptive orthodontics, malocclusion prevention, and paediatric dental care. I am a co-author of numerous scientific articles published in high-impact JCR (Journal Citation Reports) journals and have contributed several chapters to specialized books in the field. As a member of various research teams, I focus on bridging the gap between evidence-based theory and clinical practice.
